    EAPSU 2023 Conference:
    Kutztown University of PA

    Conference Theme: Academic Freedom

    Suggested paper topics include social justice, book banning, freedom of thought, current teaching shortage, moves to weaken public education. Conference coordinators will also consider other ongoing scholarly activities within the discipline. Individual papers, panel discussions, and roundtables are encouraged.

    Start: Friday, October 13 at 3:00 pm
    End: Sunday, October 15 at 3:00 pm

    All sessions in KU's Academic Forum, Rooms 103, 202, 203.

    Impost, the journal of criticism and creative work published by EAPSU, has just released volume 16. Impost is free to read and download in the "Our Journal" section [PDF]. 

    Many thanks to the editorial team at Impost and Impost's editor, Dr. Anne Dyer Stuart at Bloomsburg University, for producing another excellent edition.

    Registration for the EAPSU 2021 annual conference is now open. 

    The attendance fee for faculty is $40. Students attend for free, though we do ask you to complete registration if you are presenting or just attending.

    The deadline for the virtual EAPSU conference hosted by East Stroudsburg University has been extended to September 1, 2021. Please submit your latest work and join us on October 8 and 9!

    The CFP for the 2021 annual conference, "Regeneration and Reflection," is posted to our Annual Conferences page. 

    The conference remains online for 2021. Held on October 8 and 9, and coordinated by Dr. Cynthia Leenerts, Dr. Jan Selving, and Dr. Jasmine Villa at East Stroudsburg University, our annual conference features important work and discussion by English faculty and students from across the PASSHE system. Go check out the CFP and join us as we meet in October!

    As we near the end of the first month of 2021, we hear at EAPSU hope that your semesters are off to a good start. To that end, the editors of our journal, Impost, have issued a 2021 Call for Submissions, which you can find here and under the website's journal tab. Please see the call and be sure to share widely.     As our conference nears, we are all getting excited here at EAPSU. We look forward to seeing you this weekend.
